Cumulative GPA formula

New cumulative GPA = (prior GPA × prior credits + new grade points) ÷ (prior credits + new credits).

Example: a 3.2 GPA over 60 prior credits (192 grade points), plus a 3.8 semester GPA over 15 new credits (57 grade points), gives (192 + 57) ÷ (60 + 15) = 249 ÷ 75 = 3.32 new cumulative GPA.
