As of 2026, PayPal charges 2.99% + $0.49 per transaction for standard domestic Goods & Services payments in the US, and 3.49% + $0.49 for PayPal Checkout or invoice payments. Use the 'gross-up' mode: Amount to charge = (Amount you want to receive + fixed fee) ÷ (1 − fee percentage). This tells you what to invoice so that after PayPal's fee, you're left with exactly the amount you wanted.
